My stay at Doubletree By Hilton St. Augustine Historic District was mostly enjoyable. The location was fantastic, just a short drive to downtown and near several historic sites. I did run into some issues though. The parking charge felt a bit excessive and the water pressure in the tub wasn't great. Nonetheless, the warm cookies at check-in and the friendly staff made a positive impression.

The hotel’s location is perfect, just a 1-2 minute drive from the bustling St. George Street and close to key attractions. It provided a nice balance between avoiding the hustle of the busy area while still being able to explore easily.

6.4/10

During my recent stay at the Doubletree by Hilton St. Augustine Historic District, I found the hotel pleasant with a clean ambiance, but I encountered a few drawbacks. While the location provided decent access to downtown, it was a bit farther than I expected, making walking a bit of a trek. The staff were friendly and accommodating, though I had some issues finding help in the lounge area. Overall, I appreciated the effort made in service but felt some aspects could improve for a more seamless experience.

My room was very clean and well maintained. However, I found the mattress to be overly firm, which wasn't the best for my back. The view from my window faced the parking lot, limiting privacy when the curtains were open.

Conveniently located, the hotel is only about a 10-minute walk to downtown attractions. It’s nice to be close but still away from the noise, although I wished it was even closer for easier access.
